We are pleased to announce the details and administration of the upcoming G-TELP regular test as follows:

Test Type
The G-TELP Comprehensive Proficiency Test (CPT) is a combined examination that integrates GLT 2, GST, and GWT to comprehensively assess a test-taker’s proficiency in English listening, reading, speaking, and writing as well as their knowledge of English grammar.
Registration
- Must register for all three tests which must take place on the same examination date.
- Separate registration is required for GLT 2, GST, and GWT. Failure to do this will result in registration cancellation. Refunds will be processed within 24 hours.
- A 40% discount coupon is provided upon registration for the CPT Test.

ID Requirements
A valid passport is the only accepted form of identification. *
Score Announcement
Scores are announced within 5 to 10 days after the test date. While GLT scores can be immediately viewed after the test, official scores are available on the score announcement date following verification procedures, such as the review for potential misconduct.
Score Report Issuance
After checking your scores on My Page, you can print your official score report from the website.
Re-scoring
Re-scoring for GWT and GST is available only for scores within 30 days of the score announcement date. A re-scoring fee of $60 applies to each request. Re-scoring results will be communicated to the test taker within three weeks of their re-scoring request.
Pre-registration
In order to simplify the personal identification procedure on the day of the test, ID (Passport only) and face registration are being implemented. To ensure proper testing, we recommend test takers register in the same environment as the day of the exam, and follow the directions for the registration process.
Essential Requirements for Taking the G-TELP IBT at Home
- 1. Identification: Passport only
- 2. Computer: A desktop or laptop with a stable internet connection. Tablets or smartphones are not acceptable.
- 3. Browser: Google Chrome with any required software installed. Please check the ITSC website for software requirements.
- 4. Webcam and Microphone: A functional webcam for identity verification and to monitor the frontal face of the test taker during the test. A functional microphone and speakers are needed to complete the listening and speaking sections of the test.
- 5. Side Monitoring Device (Mobile Phone): Launch the phone’s camera and connect it to the network to capture a side view of the test taker.
- 6. Testing Environment: A quiet, well-lit room with no distractions, unauthorized materials, or people other than the test taker.
Ensure all equipment and the environment meet the specified requirements before the test day.
Policy About Presenting Identification Documents
- 1. A valid passport is the only acceptable form of identification for G-TELP test registration. Please ensure that you bring the same passport used during the registration process with you on the test day.
- 2. When taking the exam, test takers must bring the passport they used to register for the exam. This passport must be original, intact, identical to registered documentation, and valid for use at the time of test. If test takers wish to change the passport number registered on their G-TELP application, they must contact ITSC at least 2 working days before the first component of the exam. Any requests received later than this will not be reviewed or granted.
- 3. Cases in which passports are invalid or not accepted on the test date include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Passport has expired. (The expiry date has been indicated clearly on the passport.)
- Passport has been torn and/or includes unclear images or numbers or has any signs of erasure or repair; if the passport is not intact (laminated, broken, cracked, peeled, punched, or detached, reassembling a broken state, displaying angular misalignment, split in half, bent, deformed, or scratched) to the point of altering information or images which affect the personal identification and/or legal identification such as stamp, seal, or national emblem, etc.
- Photo on Passport is loose, lacks authorized watermarks, or replaced by another image without confirmation from the issuing authority. Photo is blurred, blurry or the passport holder's face is not recognizable.
- The holder of the passport has changed their identifying characteristics (those who have undergone orthopedic plastic surgery or for any other reason resulting in identifying characteristics or an appearance differing from the passport photo). Test takers with such cases must renew their passports to reflect their new identifying characteristics.
- Test takers who bring other identification documents other than those which have been registered on the G-TELP application/system.

Test fee refund
If cancellation occurs at least 4 days before the test date, 50% of theoriginal test fee will be refunded automatically. No refunds will be issued forcancellations made within 4 days of the test date. The remaining amount will be retained by ITSC to cover registration processing costs.
Refunds will be processed in the same currency used for payment. Cash refunds are notavailable. No refund will be issued if the test cannot be taken due to failure to completeregistration correctly or to present a valid, acceptable ID at the testing appointment.
