Payment, Refund & Cancellation Terms
These refund and cancellation terms (‘R&C Terms’) outline the policies and procedures set forth by ITSC for rescheduling, canceling, and refunding fees for tests and/or Products and Services requested by Test takers or their authorized users (‘User’, ’Test Taker’) for any tests (‘Tests’), study materials, software, or other related Services or offerings (‘Products & Services’) provided by ITSC, which Users can purchase in exchange for payment.
Unless specifically defined within this policy, all terms shall carry the same meanings as outlined in our Terms of Service.

I. General Terms
ITSC reserves the right to refuse or revoke access or requests of its Products or Services to any Test Taker at its sole discretion. This includes but is not limited to suspicion of fraudulent requests, transactions or any requests or transactions that contradict our Terms of Service, or any other of ITSC’s policies. We may also refuse or revoke to fulfill a Test Taker’s request for any reason outside of ITSC’s control such as a Force-Majeure event as outlined below.
(i) ‘Force-Majeure Event’ is any unforeseeable and extraordinary circumstance or series of circumstances beyond the reasonable control of either party that prevents, hinders, or delays the performance of their contractual obligations, such as natural disasters (e.g., floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, or tsunamis), acts of war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor strikes, epidemics, pandemics, widespread disease outbreaks, or any government-imposed restrictions or actions that render the fulfillment of the contract impossible or impracticable, ITSC shall not be held liable for its inability to perform or for any delay in the performance of their obligations

II. Payment Terms
2.1 Non-cash Payments in Full
All payments for Services must be made through the Website or any other methods of payment as provided by ITSC. ITSC does not accept cash payments.
All payments for Products & Services must be made in full.
2.2 Consequences of Non-payment
If a User fails to pay the required fees for ITSC Products & Services, ITSC may be unable to provide our Products & Services.
ITSC will not provide any tests, Products & Services to Users who have failed to pay any and all outstanding balances incurred from previous ITSC tests and/or Services.
2.3 Cardholder Authentication
Your card-issuing bank may require you to verify your identity during the payment process via a one-time password, authentication code or other means of verification. If you are unable to verify this information, the transaction may be declined and you will be unable to proceed. If you cannot verify your identity due to not receiving an authentication code, one time password or other verification requirements, please contact your financial institution for assistance.
ITSC reserves the right to add or remove payment options at its discretion without providing any advance or additional notice to Users.

III. Cancellation & Refund Terms
3.1 Applicability
All cancellation and refund policies provided below are applicable to all orders of ITSC Products & Services placed via the Website, but may vary depending on the circumstances or Services offered.
3.2 General Refund and Cancellation Terms
3.2.1 Refund Processing:
All refunds of Products & Services will be processed to the source account used during the original transaction. The refund processing period may vary depending on the card issuer, ranging from 5 to 30 days. Any refunds handled by ITSC will be subject to taxes, if they are deemed applicable.
3.2.2 Refund Eligibility:
Test takers who did not follow the appropriate registration procedures, were absent, arrived too late to be admitted, failed to provide valid and acceptable identification at the test center, or did not follow the regulations of the IBT at Home exam will not be eligible to receive a refund.
3.2.3 Cancellation and Re-registration:
Once you cancel the test, your registration cannot be reinstated. If you wish to take the exam at a later date, you will need to go through the registration process again from the beginning.
3.2.4 Refund and Cancellation Fees:
In the event of a cancellation, a fee may be charged to your card, depending on your card company’s policies. Please contact your card company for details on any applicable fees.
ITSC will not process any refunds in the form of cash for Products & Services.
3.3 Cancellation by Test Taker
To be eligible for a refund, you must cancel your test at least 4 days before the test date.
For example, if your test is on Sunday, you must cancel it before the end of Wednesday to qualify for a refund.
Refund policy details:
• Cancellations made before the 4-day deadline: You will receive a 50% refund of the original test fee.
• Cancellations made within 4 days of the test date: No refund will be issued.
*Exception
If you are taking the test in the Republic of Korea (ROK), the refund policy is as follows:
ROK Refund policy details:
• Cancellations made within 7 days of signing up for the test: You will receive a 100% refund of the original test fee.
• Cancellations made 8 days after signing up for the test and up to 4 days before the test date: You will receive a 50% refund of the original test fee.
• Cancellations made 3 days or less before the test date: No refund will be issued.
Note:
Before taking the IBT at Home test, you must first complete an online pre-registration process. This process can be completed from 3 days before the test date and will close 1 day before the test date. If you fail to complete the online pre-registration process, your test will be invalid and no refund will be issued.

3.4 Cancellation by ITSC
If ITSC is unable to provide our Products & Services to you, a Test Taker is eligible for a full refund of their registered Test. However, if your purchase of any Products & Services is disrupted due to a Force-Majeure event (as defined under General Terms, section I of R&C), ITSC will not be responsible or liable for any processing, cancellation or refunds to affected Test Takers.
