When are the testing center examinations scheduled to resume?
As of now, specific details about the resumption of traditional testing center examinations (Paper-based testing, Computer-based testing, and Internet-based testing) in the United States have not been announced. Currently, all examinations that were suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic are being transitioned to the Internet-Based Testing At-Home format, which is scheduled to commence in December 2024. Candidates are advised to monitor our website regularly for updates regarding the resumption of testing at traditional test centers.
How can I delete my account and my personal data?
You can delete your account by navigating to My Page > Personal Information and then clicking on ‘Delete my account’ at the end of the page. After you submit the form, your deletion request will be processed upon approval by the administrator. Your personal data will be automatically deleted once the administrator approves your account deletion.

I forgot my password, what should I do?
If you have forgotten your password, it is simple to reset. Begin by navigating to the Home page, then proceed to the Login Page. Click on ‘Forgot Password’ located below the password field. Once a popup appears, please enter the email address associated with your account. After submitting your request, we’ll promptly provide you with comprehensive instructions for resetting your password.

How can I change my email address or password?
You can change your email by going to My Page > Personal Information > Email. Please note the email you use for your G-TELP account registration cannot be changed, as this is associated with your account ID. However, you can update the email address that you receive updates related to your test from G-TELP.
To change your password, simply navigate to My Page > Personal Information > Change Password.
Enter your current password and new password you wish to use, then retype the new password. Ensure that your password includes an uppercase letter (A-Z), a lowercase letter (a-z), a number (0-9), or a symbol such as (!@#$%^&*()) within 8-15 characters.
Please note that your password must not match or contain your username, first name, or last name. Password changes should not be made again within 24 hours.
How long will it take to get a refund?
All refunds for products and services will be processed to the account used during the original transaction. For payments made using credit, debit cards, or other means (such as PayPal), the refund process will be initiated by G-TELP with our payment providers and may take up to 15 business days. Please check our payment, refund & cancellation terms https://g-telp.com/rule/payment for more information.
If you did not receive the refund within this timeframe, you may contact your bank or credit card provider. Also, you can always reach out to our service team at support@itsc-group.com for further assistance.
What is the deadline for refund requests?
Kindly be advised that refunds are not provided by G-TELP for test takers who cancel their registration within 4 days of the scheduled test day, known as the ‘Cancellation Period’. To be eligible for a refund, it is imperative to cancel the test at least 4 days prior to the scheduled test date. For clarity, if the test date falls on Sunday, cancellation must occur before the end of Wednesday to qualify for a refund.
It is essential to note that canceling registration before the 4-day Cancellation Period will result in a partial refund of 50% of the original purchase fee. However, beyond the 4-day Cancellation Period, G-TELP holds no obligation to facilitate a refund. For more information, please visit https://g-telp.com/rule/payment.
What if I could not take the test due to a natural disaster or emergency situation?
Please note that ‘Force-Majeure Event’ is any unforeseeable and extraordinary circumstance or series of circumstances beyond the reasonable control of either party that prevents, hinders, or delays the performance of their contractual obligations, such as natural disaster (e.g., floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, or tsunamis), acts of war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor strikes, epidemics, pandemics, widespread disease outbreaks, or any government-imposed restrictions or actions that render the fulfillment of the contract impossible or impracticable, ITSC shall not be held liable for its inability to perform or for any delay in the performance of their obligation.

How do I request for a refund?
To request a refund, simply navigate to My Page > Registration/Test Status and click on ‘Request Refund’ under Detail.
Please note that G-TELP does not issue refunds to test takers who cancel their registration within 4 days of the scheduled test day (the ‘Cancellation Period’). To qualify for a refund, you must cancel your test at least 4 days prior to the scheduled test date. For instance, if your test date is on Saturday, you must cancel your test before the end of Tuesday to be eligible for a refund.
It’s important to understand that cancelling your registration before the 4-day Cancellation period entitles you to a partial refund of 50% of the original purchase fee. However, if you request a refund after the 4-day Cancellation period, G-TELP is not obligated to issue you a refund.
Moreover, test takers who did not follow the appropriate registration procedures, were absent, arrived too late to be admitted, or failed to provide valid and acceptable identification at the test center, will not be eligible for a refund.

What happens if I forget to bring my ID on the day of the test?
On your test day, it is important to bring the same identification document that you used when you registered for your test. Please note that you will not be able to take your test if you bring the wrong ID or forget to bring your ID. In this case, your test fee will not be refunded.

I need to take the G-TELP test soon, but I lost my ID. What should I do?
If you need to take the G-TELP Test but have lost your ID, it’s important to take immediate action to resolve this issue. Without a valid ID, you may not be able to register for or take the test. In this case, you can always reach out to our service team at support@itsc-group.com for further assistance. Our team can provide you with guidance on the specific steps you need to take to resolve the situation. Meanwhile, obtaining a replacement ID can resolve this issue. Make sure you obtain a replacement ID from the appropriate authority that meets our ID requirements. Ensure that the replacement ID you obtain is acceptable for G-TELP testing purposes. What types of identification are accepted?
Your ID requirements depend on where you plan to take the test and your citizenship. Before registering for a test, you must ensure you have a valid ID based on your citizenship and testing location. If you have issues providing ID or have any questions regarding your ID, contact our service team at support@itsc-group.com before registering for your test. Please note that you will not receive a refund if you do not provide an acceptable form of ID and do not contact us to resolve any ID related issues before registering your test.

Here’s general ID document requirements that you need to check before you take the test. With few exceptions, ID documents must meet all of the following requirements. Each ID document must:
Original document; photocopied documents are not acceptable
Physical ID
Government-issued ID that is recognized by the country where you are a citizen or resident
Valid ID; expired documents are not acceptable
Include your full name and date of birth
Recognizable photograph

Also, please acknowledge that your ITSC account name and the name on your ID must match. When setting up your ITSC account and registering for your test, you must ensure that the name on your account matches exactly with the name on your ID card. Any discrepancies between these names could render you ineligible to take the test, with no refund for your test fee. If you anticipate potential discrepancies, it’s advisable to contact our G-TELP services before finalizing your registration. Furthermore, should your name change after registration, you can seek assistance from our G-TELP Services at support@itsc-group.com.
How can I compare my G-TELP score with other tests?
The proficiency scores in English are critical for your admission process. If you are confused because there are a number of different language tests, each with its own system, you can always compare other tests with G-TELP scores using the score comparisons table below.

I think my score is wrongly evaluated, where can I request for the score review?
If you think that your score has been wrongly evaluated, you can always request a score review for each section, with a charge of $80 per section. To do so, go to My Page > Registration >Test Status > Click on ‘Check Score’ in the score release date section > Request Score Review.
Please note that a score review must be requested within 30 days after the test, and it is only available once. Additionally, score review is only applicable to the speaking and writing sections: G-TELP Speaking Test, G-TELP Writing Test, G-TELP Business Speaking Test, G-TELP Business Writing Test.
Remember, a score review request will not be accepted if scores have already been sent out to other institutions or schools. The original scores will not remain valid while the score review is in process. The cost is refundable if the reviewed scores differ from the original scores.

I would like another copy of my score report, how can I request it?
To request a copy of your score report, simply navigate to ‘My Page > Registration/Test Status’ and select the desired test session. Then, click on ‘Detail > Check Score in the score release date section > Request additional reports’. Keep in mind that each additional score report will incur a $25 fee. For instance, if you require multiple reports, multiply $25 by the number of reports you need, and transfer the total cost
Once your payment is confirmed, your report will be promptly sent. Please ensure that you enter the correct address, as your report will be delivered to the address associated with the contact information on your account. If you prefer to receive it at a different address, you can update your information under ‘My Page > Personal Information’.
Kindly note that we cannot be held responsible for misdelivery due to incorrect shipping information. If you require further assistance regarding your score report, please do not hesitate to reach out to our team at reports@itsc-group.com.
How long are my scores valid for?
The validity of the G-TELP score is two (2) years. After the test results, the G-TELP score report is reportable for a 2-year period. Please note that you will no longer be able to check your expired result on the website and share the result after two years, as it automatically expires after this given period.
An error occurred while checking my result, what should I do?
If an error occurred while checking your result, you can try the following steps:
Double-check the information you entered to ensure accuracy.
Refresh the page and try again
Clear your browser’s cache and cookies, then attempt to check your result again.
Where can I find my test result?
You can find your test result by clicking ‘My Page > Registration/ Test Status> Detail’. To see more details, navigate to ‘Registration/ Test Status Detail> Score Release Date’ and click on ‘Check Score’.

How long does it take to receive my test result?
The release of test results varies depending on the test type.
For the G-TELP Level test, results will be released no later than 8 working days after the test date on the G-TELP website. Original score reports will be printed out or mailed directly to test-takers within 2 weeks from the completion of the test date.
This applies equally to the G-TELP Speaking Test and G-TELP Writing Test.
The G-TELP Business Speaking Test and the G-TELP Business Writing Test results will be released within 7 working days.
For the G-TELP Junior test, the result will be released on the website no later than 5 working days after the test date. Test takers who apply for their score report online can print it out online only once, and a paper score report is mailed out directly only to those who apply for a paper score report once the score is released. Score reports will be available online for both options.

How long does G-TELP test last?
The test time for the G-TELP tests varies depending on the test type.
For the G-TELP Level Test, the time duration is listed as follows:
*Level 1 test lasts 1 hour and 40 minutes and includes 2 sections:
Listening: Approx. 30 min
Reading & Vocabulary: 70 min
*Level 2 test takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete and includes 3 sections:
Grammar: 20min
Listening: Approx. 30 min
Reading & Vocabulary: 40 min
* Level 3 test last 1 hour and 20 minutes and includes 3 sections:
Grammar: 20min
Listening: Approx.20 min
Reading & Vocabulary: 40min
*Level 4 test takes 1 hour to complete and includes 3 sections:
Grammar: 20min
Listening: Approx. 15 min
Reading & Vocabulary: 25 min
*Level 5 test last 55 minutes and includes 3 sections:
Grammar: 15 min

The test duration for the G-TELP Speaking and Writing test is listed as follows:
Speaking Test: Approx. 35 minutes with around 30 questions divided among 11 parts
Writing Test: Approx. 60 minutes with 5 questions corresponding to 5 parts

Can I use the restroom during the test?
No. During the G-TELP test, the use of the restroom is prohibited. If, despite this, you wish to use the restroom during the test, please be aware that the test for the current session will be invalidated. To prevent such issues, it is strongly advised to use the restroom during the break time provided before the start of the test. Are there any restrictions to apply for the test?
There are no specific restrictions to apply for the G-TELP Test. However if you are registering for the test with an unauthorized ID, registering for the test with someone else’s ID, and using someone else’s credit card to pay for the test fee, you may face issues with test registration.

What are the preparations for the day of the test?
Make sure you have everything you need on the test day in order to do your best. Please review the ID requirements to make sure the ID you bring on test day is acceptable. To check the Test Day Information, click ‘My Page > Test Day Information’. Also, remember to go through our procedures and policies before you take the test.
You will need to review the preparation requirements for the type of test (IBT AT Home, IBT At Center, PBT Offline) to ensure you are well prepared for your test.
What do Mastery, Near Mastery, and No Mastery mean?
Mastery, Near-Mastery, and No Mastery in the score reports are Overall Proficiency indicators.
The test scores are determined by the number of correct answers. A score for each section (Grammar, Listening, Reading and Vocabulary) is expressed as a percentage of correct answers, and the total score is determined by the average percentage of three sections.
Below are the Overall Proficiency indicators that are provided in the score report:
Mastery: An examinee who achieves 75% or greater in all three sections
Near-master: AN examinee who achieves 75% or greater in two of three sections
No Master: An examinee who achieves 75% or greater in less than two sections
Please note that degrees of mastery do not indicate whether or not a test-taker passed or failed.
How do the G-TELP tests work?
The G-TELP(General Test of English Language Proficiency) is designed to measure English proficiency. The test is utilized to assess various English skills, primarily focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing abilities.
Listening: In the listening section, participants are evaluated on their ability to understand and respond to questions based on English conversations or lectures. These cover everyday dialogues or academic topics.
Reading: The reading section assesses the ability to read a given text and answer questions based on the understanding of its content. The texts can range from various topics, including academic or non-academic subjects.
Speaking: The speaking section evaluates participants' ability to express themselves on given topics. This can take various forms, such as engaging in everyday conversations or participating in topic-based discussions.
Writing: In the writing section, participants are assessed on their ability to write about a given topic. They are expected to write clearly and effectively in response to the provided prompts.

How do I apply a coupon?
You can apply the coupon during the test registration process. At the final step on the payment page, you can apply a coupon by selecting the desired coupon from the ‘Select Coupon’ section. Once you choose the coupon, it will automatically be applied to the total payment fees.
Can someone else make a payment for my G-TELP test?
Yes, someone else can make a payment for your G-TELP test. To do this, they should log in to your G-TELP account using your username and password. Ensure that they log in to the correct account to prevent any confusion. If they are creating the account on your behalf, confirm that they provide you with the correct login details to access both your account and the purchased test. Additionally, you can use their payment details. Make sure the payment details include the following information:
Card Number
Expiry Date
Security Code
Cardholder’s Name
Please note that we can only refund payments to the original payment method.
Where can I find my order and payment status?
You can find your order status by clicking on ‘My Page > Registration/ Test status’. Click on ‘Details’ to check both your order status and payment details.
There was an error during the payment process, what should I do?
Sometimes there may be an error during processing of your online credit card transaction. The reasons for such errors may simply include the use of a wrong card number or reaching the card limit, among other possibilities.
If an error occurs during the payment process, you can try refreshing the current webpage and retrying the payment. Another solution could be to contact your Credit Card Issuer or bank to address any payment processing issues. If you are still unable to resolve an error, please contact our support at support@itsc-group.com.
My payment is not working, what should I do?
G-TELP accepts two payment methods, which are Credit card and PayPal payment. There are a variety of reasons why your payment might fail. If your credit card payment failed, the reasons can vary between banks and the secure payment gateways we use to store your credit card details. The most common causes include:
Card declined by issuer
Expired credit card
Insufficient funds
Restricted card
Lost or stolen card
Should the issue stem from an expired, lost, stolen, or outdated credit card, updating your credit card information will address the problem. Alternatively, if transactions are still unsuccessful, reaching out to your bank or credit card issuer for additional information may be necessary. I have a health-related issue, where can I apply for test accommodations?
ITSC strives to ensure that our test is impartial and accessible to all. Depending on individual circumstances, accommodations such as extra time, adjusted proctoring, or external aids may be granted. These accommodations are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If you will need accommodations for a disability or health-related need, you must request them before you register for a test. Make sure you obtain approval for your accommodations from ITSC’s Disability Services by submitting your request prior to scheduling your test.

How to cancel or reschedule a test?
Rescheduling the test is not allowed, so if you want to reschedule it, you will have to cancel the test and register again. To cancel your test, go to ‘My Page > My Test or Registration/Test Status’. If you cancel your reservation no later than four days before the test date, we will refund you half of the original test cost.

How to register for a test?
To register for the G-TELP tests, you can follow these general steps. First, create an account if you don't already have one. Then, select a test type and date, complete the registration form, and pay the registration fee. Your test registration will be completed and confirmed through email once the payment is successfully validated.
What is the difference between G-TELP at Center and G-TELP at Home?
The difference between the G-TELP at Center and G-TELP at Home is the testing environment and the mode of test delivery.
Regarding G-TELP at Center, you must go to a test center to take the test, and the test is conducted under the supervision of test center staff. Furthermore, the test center provides the necessary equipment and materials for the test.
Regarding G-TELP at Home, you must take the test from the comfort of your home, or another suitable location, and the test is proctored remotely through the internet. Moreover, you will use your own computer and internet connection to complete the test and you have more control over your testing environment, as long as you meet the specific requirements to ensure a secure and fair testing experience.
